What Are Your Qualifications?
I graduated from the University of Northwestern – St. Paul in 2020 with a B.A. in English: Literature & Writing, after earning my A.A. in Liberal Arts with an English concentration from Des Moines Area Community College in 2018.
I joined Safe Harbor Estate Law in 2020 and have had the opportunity to grow alongside the firm, gaining experience across many areas of our day-to-day operations and client experience. Now, as Operations Manager, I help oversee internal processes, support our team, coordinate workflows across departments, and identify ways we can operate more efficiently while continuing to provide an excellent experience for our clients.
My background in communication and client service, combined with my years of hands-on experience at Safe Harbor, has given me a strong understanding of both our clients’ needs and the systems and teamwork required behind the scenes to serve them well.
What Do You Like Most About Estate Planning And Elder Law?
Over the years, I’ve especially enjoyed seeing the lasting relationships we build with our clients. In my role as Operations Manager, I also have the opportunity to help create an environment where both our team and our processes support that client-centered approach. Empathy goes a long way, and I feel fortunate to work for a firm that genuinely values it in the way we care for our clients and work together as a team.
What Do You Do In Your Spare Time?
In my spare time, my husband, daughter, and I love spending time outdoors and making the most of Minnesota’s short summers. We enjoy exploring local hiking trails, playing pickleball, rollerblading around our neighborhood, and visiting state parks. When winter arrives, we’re just as happy staying cozy at home, watching movies and enjoying our fireplace. I also enjoy volunteering with the children’s ministry at my church, which is another meaningful way I spend my time outside of work.
Fun Fact:
I have a deep love for theater, especially musicals! In 2015, I had the chance to travel with a group of peers to the UK, where I saw Wicked, Phantom of the Opera, and The Mousetrap in London’s West End. I to attend local performances at local Twin Cities performing arts spaces whenever I can.
